75 countries Visa processing has been suspended for citizen

America has Taken a significant step against 75 countries. Visa processing has been suspended for citizens of 75 countries. This Step is aimed at keeping a close watch on applicants who are considered more likely to become a public burden in the United States.

 

The authorities have been directed to cancel visas in line with the law. Some countries that have been affected by this: Russia, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt, Brazil, Iran, Nigeria, Thailand, and Yemen. The US government has applied this visa Suspend Action for an indefinite period effective January 21, 2026.

The main reason behind this step is the strict enforcement of the “public charge” rule. Applicants who are considered likely to depend on government assistance in the United States will be denied visas.

The 75 country list includes : Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Belize, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Burma, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Colombia, Cote d’Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dominica, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Fiji, The Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Grenada, Guatemala, Guinea, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyz Republic, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Republic of the Congo, Russia, Rwanda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, and Yemen.
