Bhubaneswar(24,01,2026) :  Odisha is moving quickly to build its own powerful AI setup that focuses on Odia language, keeps data safe under state control, and makes government services easier for every person – even in far-off villages.

The Chief Minister’s Office announced today that the state is in serious talks with Sarvam AI, a leading Indian AI company. The goal is to create a secure, shared AI infrastructure fully managed by the Odisha government.
This step is part of Odisha’s bigger plan to become a leader in citizen-friendly AI. It will help improve education, farming, healthcare, and online government work using simple voice commands in Odia.
