Two liver transplants have already been done successfully. Both patients are recovering well. The robotic surgery system will cover specialties like urology, gynaecology, and paediatric surgery at first. He called organ donation a national priority. The services are available under schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) and Rashtriya Arogya Nidhi. This ensures no financial hardship for poor patients. This year is observed as “Angdaan Jeevan Sanjeevani Abhiyaan” to promote organ donation.Patients in Odisha and nearby states can now access these advanced treatments locally.
