
The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has officially released the 15th Addendum to Advertisement No. 05 of 2025–26 for the Odisha Civil Services Examination (OCSE) 2025, announcing a major increase in vacancies. As per the latest notification, the total number of posts has been raised from 314 to 465, providing a significant opportunity for aspirants preparing for the prestigious state civil services examination.
151 Additional Posts Approved by State Government
According to the addendum issued on January 3, 2026, the General Administration & Public Grievance Department of the Odisha Government has approved 151 additional posts, including 50 reserved for women candidates. With this revision, the overall vacancy position now stands at 465 posts, including 154 for women candidates.
Service-Wise Increase in Vacancies
The additional vacancies have been distributed across several key services:
Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) – 14 posts
Odisha Revenue Service (ORS) – 13 posts
Odisha Welfare Service – 16 posts
Odisha Transport Service – 8 posts
Reservation & Category-Wise Distribution
The revised vacancy position includes reservations as per government norms:
Women Reservation: 154 posts
Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 20 posts
Ex-Servicemen: 10 posts
Sports Persons: 4 posts
