Speed Post 24 and Speed Post 48 Launched

Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia has announced the launch of Speed Post 24 and Speed Post 48 services by India Post. This will ensure that the deliveries will be done in 24 hours and 48 hours respectively.
The declaration was made in a program that was hosted at Pichor, which is a location in the Shivpuri district in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Focus on Timely Postal Delivery

Addressing a function, Scindia said that Speed Post 24 & Speed Post 48 services are being offered to work towards improving delivery time and building trust in postal services. This is expected to help improve mail delivery as a result.

Inauguration of Pichhor Sub-Post Office

the Union Minister dedicated the renovated Pichhor sub-post office, whose renovation has been carried out at a cost of ₹2 lakh.
He also laid the foundation stone and the ground-breaking ceremonies for the proposed new sub-post office building at this post office. It would be constructed at the cost of ₹1crore 11 lakhs.
On December 29, 2025, Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), through the National Centre for Communication Security (NCCS), has implemented reforms in manufacturing and testing in the telecom sector.
