A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Mission Shakti Department & the Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council

Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Pravati Parida has said that this particular effort will prove to be instrumental in making more “Lakhsapati Didis” in Our state.

As per this MoU, training for entrepreneurship in areas such as tent house and catering management services will be provided to women self-help groups. The training will be provided in different areas such as sustainable management of business units, upgradation of professional skills, generation of FSSAI certificates, preparation of DPRs, acquisition of equipment, business expansion, and so on. A total of four thousand women members of one thousand self-help groups will be trained in food supply, event management, tent, and catering services. An allocation of Rs 9.3 crore has also been made for this scheme.
