The Dhenkanal District Administration is organizing the Dhenkanal Mahotsav and Palishree Mela–2026 from January 20 to January 24, 2026. The five-day festival will be held at the Palishree Mela Ground, Mahishapata,Dhenkanal.

The festival will showcase of Odisha’s traditional folk culture, folk dances, folk music, and modern musical performances. Every evening, renowned artists will present cultural programs, offering entertainment to visitors of all People.

Along with the cultural events, the Palishree Mela will feature stalls displaying & selling products made by Self-Help Groups (SHGs), handicrafts, handloom items, traditional art, and local food products. The fair aims to promote local craftsmanship and provide a platform for small entrepreneurs and artisans.
