Gothapatana Sports Complex Planned as Major Sports Hub in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar : The government has planned a new Sports Complex at Gothapatana in Bhubaneswar. The project will cover more than 100 acres. It will be developed as a major integrated sports infrastructure facility in Odisha. The complex will include world-class facilities and advanced infrastructure. The aim is to create a large sports destination in the state.

Authorities want to position Odisha as a premier venue for national and international sporting events. The project will support professional competitions.The complex will also focus on talent development and high-performance training. Community sports participation will be encouraged.

The project is expected to improve sports opportunities for players and local residents.
