After completing her exam, she did not return home. When she did not come back till evening, her family members became worried. They started searching for her in nearby areas and also contacted relatives and friends. However, no information about her whereabouts was found.
As the night passed without any trace of the girl, the concern of the family members increased. They continued searching at different places but could not locate her. The family then suspected that something serious might have happened.
On Thursday morning, her body was found in a nearby forest in the Kamakhyanagar area. The discovery of the body created panic in the locality. Local people informed the police immediately after seeing the body.
There were visible injury marks on her body. Based on the condition of the body, it is suspected that she was raped and then murdered. However, the exact reason and cause of death will be known only after proper investigation and medical examination.
