Odisha approved a masterplan for a new LokSeva Bhawan and Odisha Legislative Assembly

 

Odisha approved to construct a masterplan for a new LokSeva Bhawan and Odisha Legislative Assembly complex.The masterplan has been approved by the Odisha State Government, which signifies a significant milestone toward the modernization of the Administrative and Legislative infrastructure of Odisha. The two prominent buildings will be developed within an integrated facility to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Governance.

The groundbreaking ceremony will be conducted by the Chief Minister of Odisha Mohan Charan Majhi in the presence of other high-ranking officials in a ceremony that will mark the beginning of a project that is focused on enhancing the strength of Administrative operations of Odisha State.

The masterplan stipulates that the LokSeva Bhawan and the new Assembly building will both be constructed on a single campus; thus, it is expected that this will improve coordination between Departments and produce a centralised hub for Governance and Policy Development.

Investment for Project and Project Area

The ambitious Project will be developed on 71 acres with an estimated total investment of ₹3623 million, which demonstrates the commitment of the Government of Odisha to produce World-Class Infrastructure as a reflection of the Government’s commitment to developing the future Legislative and Administrative infrastructure.
