OPSC Assistant Agriculture Officer Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 118 Posts
Cuttack: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Assistant Agriculture Officer (AAO) posts under the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment. A total of 118 Group-B (Class-II) vacancies will be filled through a competitive selection process. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website opsc.gov.in within the prescribed dates.

Age Limit:
Candidates must be between 21 and 42 years as on 1 January 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for SEBC, SC, ST, Women, Ex-Servicemen, and PwD candidates as per government rules.
Educational Qualification:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture [B.Sc. (Ag.)] or Horticulture [B.Sc. (Horticulture)] from a recognized university. No other equivalent qualification will be accepted.

Selection Process
he selection will be conducted in two stages:
Written Examination (200 Marks)
Two papers (Paper-I & Paper-II)
MCQ pattern
Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
Personality Test / Interview (25 Marks)
The final merit list will be prepared based on the aggregate marks obtained in both stages.
