What is the PUCC Green Sticker?
The Odisha State Transport Authority (STA) has developed a new visual indicator called a green sticker to indicate that a vehicle currently has a valid pollution control certificate.
Some important information included on the sticker includes:
The vehicle registration number.
The date of expiration on the PUCC.
The name of the registered pollution testing station that issued the PUCC.
A tamper-proof security hologram and a unique serial number.
How the PUCC Green Sticker Works
The system assists officials with quick verification of vehicle ownership through an inventory system. The stickers are provided free of charge, and all RTOs and approved centres do not charge for their distribution. This helps facilitate an easier visual check to support “No PUCC, No Fuel” directives enforced by the Government.
It is important to note that if your vehicle is not displaying the sticker, you will not face penalties as long as you hold a valid PUCC.
