Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) confirmed the decision after discussions with the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) and other officials. The M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will serve as the main venue for five of RCB’s seven home matches in the league phase. The remaining two home games will take place at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur. This is due to prior commitments.

The confirmation comes after safety concerns led to changes in the past. The Karnataka government and police provided support to allow matches at Chinnaswamy again. RCB thanked the Government of Karnataka, KSCA, and Karnataka Police for their help.
The M Chinnaswamy Stadium is likely to host the IPL 2026 opener on March 28. It may also stage other key games. The full IPL 2026 schedule is expected soon from the BCCI.
