TATA WPL 2026 Final :RCB Women Lift Second Title in Epic Thriller

On February 5, 2026, at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara, RCB chased down a huge target of 204 runs to beat Delhi Capitals by 6 wickets with just 2 balls left. This chase set a new record as the highest successful run chase in WPL history. Fans are still buzzing about the drama in the final overs.
Delhi Capitals batted first and posted a strong 203/4 in 20 overs. Jemimah Rodrigues smashed 57, Laura Wolvaardt scored 44, Lizelle Lee made 37, and Chinelle Henry added 35* to give them a big total. RCB’s bowlers kept it tight, with Lauren Bell shining by giving away just 19 runs in her 4 overs.
Then came the chase, Captain Smriti Mandhana led from the front with a brilliant 87 off 41 balls, full of powerful strokes. She shared a massive 165-run partnership with Georgia Voll, who played a calm yet attacking knock of 79 off 54 balls. This stand turned the game in RCB’s favour.
The match went right down to the wire. In the last over, RCB needed a few runs, and Radha Yadav sealed it with boundaries under pressure. Pure excitement.
Player of the Match: Smriti Mandhana (87 off 41) – her knock was the backbone of the chase.
RCB also won the Orange Cap (most runs in the season) thanks to Mandhana’s consistent form.
